PERSONAL REFLECTION ON MY EXPERIENCE WITH BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA.

I struggled with the condition for over a decade. At first, I thought it would go away and I never advised my physician about the problem. It was a subject that was never mentioned among men. Both BPH and Prostate cancer are never featured subjects around the dinner table or a lunch with buddies. Perhaps the only witness to the condition was my wife.

I kept upping the dose of two different types of herbal products I took and finally the problem became tolerable. The month’s supply of herbal remedies that I took cost me around $200!

During the fall of 2001, I received a call from a friend who asked if I was interested in becoming a spokesperson for a prostate product. Since I was spending a fortune on capsules, and not really getting much relief, the opportunity to try a different product made perfect sense to me.

I received a package with the product and an abundance of research literature. This was the first time I had ever seen flower pollen extract. I had to make a decision. If I wanted to be a spokesperson, I had to give the product a real try and that meant stopping the hundreds of capsules (weekly) I had routinely taken for ten years.

I switched over completely and began to read the scientific abstracts on the extract. Around the 21st day, I was symptom free. It was like setting my physical clock back some 15 years!

The spokesperson job seemed to languish as one of the three parties decided on another product. I had labored in the supplement manufacturing business since the early nineties, and during that time I began to recognize what a successful product looked like. This had all the aspects of a winner.

I began to piece together Toomey Nutritionals. This was going to be my company, and all of the elements would work together with a philosophy of quality, integrity, and reasonable prices. The products in my line were going to cost me a higher manufacturing price, but I believed that the American public would soon be demanding products made under the same conditions as pharmaceuticals.

I too tried numerous herbals to relieve my prostate problem. I tried Saw Palmetto, Pygeum Bark Extract, Pumpkin Seed Oil, you name it I have tried it. Nothing seemed to work consistantly. I did get some relief on ocassion. Most of the time, however, I would wake up about 2 or 3 AM every morning to use the restroom.

After trying PREXAMED for about two weeks now, I am sleeping through the night and have no more pain associated with an enlarged prostate. I have much stronger urinary flow.
